  • Workshops can be tailored to your industry and can focus on emergencies you would be likely to face.

  • Workshops can range from 1-4 hours in length and are taught by Canadian Red Cross Instructors / Instructor Trainers & Industry Leaders. We offer hands on, practical skills training to reinforce the concepts being taught. Many of our workshops can be offered in conjunction with Canadian Red Cross online training programs.

  • Toolbox Talk
  • Many of our workshops can be offered as short, informal safety talks to focus on topics related specifically to the job and discuss workplace hazards, and safe work practices. This is a fantastic way to refresh workers’ knowledge, facilitate health and safety discussions and promote your organization’s safety culture.
  • SHSM Certifications
  • SHSM Certification Workshops are designed to fit with your class schedule and run anywhere between 2-8 hours in length. Many of the SHSM Certification Workshops can be combined with Canadian Red Cross online training programs. Students will receive hands on training and will be assessed/evaluated on the skills that were taught.   • Allergy Awareness: 1-2 hours
  • Ambulation, Lifting and Transfers: 4 hours
  • Concussion Awareness: 2-4 hours
  • Child Safety & Injury Prevention: 2-4 hours *We recommend combining this workshop with Life with a Baby
  • Fire Safety & Fire Extinguisher Use: 2-4 hours *We recommend combining this workshop with online training. Fire Safety
  • Hazardous Materials Workshop: 4 hours *We recommend combining this workshop with online training. WHMIS
  • Life with a Baby (Infant/Child CPR Workshop): 2 hours
  • Life with a Parent (Senior Care – First Aid & CPR Workshop): 2 hours
  • Specialized Care (Diabetes, Dementia, Nutrition): 2-4 hours
  • Stress Management Techniques: 2 hours
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods: 2 hours *We recommend combining this workshop with online training. Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Wrapping & Taping for Performance/Injury: 2 hours
